A extension of the option held by the Christchurch Regional Planning Authority on “Mona Vale” is wanted by the service clubs’ committee which, with the Civic Trust, proposes a public appeal for funds to buy the property as a reserve.
The option given by the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter-Day Saints is due to expire at the end of August.
