HEDGE FIRE
Forty feet of macrocarpa hedge at 33 Te Awa Kura terrace was destroyed by fire on Monday afternoon. The fire also caused minor damage to telegraph and electricity lines.
One machine from Sumner and one from Woolston answered the call received at 4.50 p.m. The property is occupied by Mrs K. Thompson.
