HEAP OF PROPAGANDA.—Some of the 12 tons of Communist propaganda material seized in Mexico City recently when Mexican officials uncovered an anti-Govemment plot financed by China. Thirteen arrests were made and more were expected. A Government announcement said the men were working together to carry out “subversive acts designed to overthrow the Government” and to install “a popular-socialist regime.” The subversive group was said to have been operating on a monthly allowance of 1680 dollars from Peking. The propaganda material included books, leaflets, and pictures of Communist leaders.
