_ INVERCARGILL. The Italian-bred sire, Talisman©, which has been doing stud duty at the Ascot Stud, Invercargill, for two seasons, has been leased to a Victorian studmaster. He will be shipped to Melbourne at the end of the week.
In the five years Talismano’s stock have raced In New Zealand they have won 37 races and secured 141 plactnge, for 535,580 in stakes. He was represented by two good South Island three-year-olds last season, Tallc and Signaller. Other Talliamano winners have included Banbury, El Cerrito and Wizard. Peterhead, Plymouth Hoa and Jinx have been among his winners tn Auztralia.
