AUCKLAND Waiouru and Northern tied I for first placd in the Army winter sports tournament which ended at Papakura yesterday, but Waiouru finished a clear leader for the Command shield for summer and winter sports competition. Results:— Rugby.—Southern 20, Central 3; Waiouru 10, Northern 3. Final placings: Waiouru 1, Northern 2, Southern 3, Central
Soccer.—Southern 3, Centra! 2, Waiouru 5, Northern 4. Finat placlngs: Waiouru 1, Northern 2, Southern 3, Central 4;
Basketball.—Men: Southern 38, Central 18; Northern 51. Waiouru 30. Final placlngs: North, ern 1, Waiouru 2, Southern 3, Central 4. Women: Central 39, Southern 24; Waiouru 34, Northern 26.
Winter tournament points: Waiouru, Northern 18, Southern 14, Central 10. Command Trophy.—Waiouru 334, Northern 28J, Southern 241, Central 234.
