British Minister To Visit N.Z.

(N.Z. Press AuociaUon—Copyright) LONDON, August 6. The Minister of State at the Board of Trade (Mr George Darting) will visit New Zealand, Malaysia, Singapore and the United States later this month and in September to discuss trade relations.

He is due in Wellington on August 20 and will attend the British Day reception at the International Trade Fair there the following day. He will then visit Auckland, Christchurch, Hamilton and Napier, leaving for Fiji on September 10. He will see a wide variety of New Zealand enterprises including a dairy factory, a geothermal power station and a paper mill.

Before arriving in New Zealand he will visit Kuala Lumpur on August 15 for talks with Malaysian Government ministers and business representatives, and leave there two days later for similar discussions in Singapore. After a two-day stop in Fiji he will fly to San Francisco to discuss British trade with the United States west coast. He will return to London on September 15.
