Eisenhower In Hospital

The former United States President, General Dwight Eisenhower, entered the Walter Reed Army hospital in Washington yesterday for treatment of what a spokesman described as “a minor gastro-intestinal upset.” General Eisenhower, aged 76, became ill at his home in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, on Friday and was flown to hospital by helicopter.
