(Special Crtpdt. SYDNEY. Ths New Zealand-bred gallopers Shakedown and Auto Filou enhanced their prospects for the Epsom and Metropolitan Handicaps with fine wins at Rosehill on Saturday. Shakedown. the early favourite for the Epsom Handicap on September 30, won his third race in succession when he took the Cammeray Welter after starting at « to 1 on. Auto Filou, which has already been well backed for the Metropolitan on October 2, had a tough run in the Castlecrag Handicap but won well. Shakedown (Chatsworth II Picturesque) began his run three furlongs from home, going three wide. Ho had a clear lead at the furlong and was easing at the post, two lengths and a half ahead of Gold Paint <lO to 1), with Wildarra (16 to 1) a similar distance away third. The apprentice rider R. Quinton was forced to take Auto Filou to the outside end although the field was small he raced three wide at two stages of the race.
