(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) WINNIPEG. The United States won Its one hundred and twentieth gold medal on Saturday to equal its best performance in the Pan American Games. The Americans, who also reached 120 in the 1959 games in Chicago, on Saturday took six from track and field, six from rowing, three from boxing and one each from men’s basketball and baseball.

The boxing honours were divded between the United States and Cuba, which each won three gold medals.
