U.K. Allows Big Broking Firms
(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) LONDON, August 4. The London Stock Exchange has formally cleared the way for multiple partner mergers between big stock exchange firms. In line with the new Companies Act, the stock exchange has said it will Impose no restriction on the number of partners. Previously the limit of a maximum of 20 members of a partnership had put a brake on mergers between big broking firms.
