FITNESS TEST
The Canterbury centre, P. K. Hatchwell, brought into the South Island team to replace an Injured D. A. Arnold, may not be able to play today. A. Mowat, of Marlborough, ,1s standing by in case Hatchwell does not pass a fitness test today. Hatchwell had two. teeth taken out recently and its after - effects may have caused toxicity, which in turn affected his ear drums so that his sense of balance has been disrupted. A decision on Hatchwell’s fitness will be made this morning.
