Plentiful supplies of all vegetables were available at Christchurch produce markets yesterday. Lettuces and sprouts from Oamaru and cauliflower! and lettuces from Nelson supplemented local supplies. Prices supplied by the Christchurch Fruit and Vegetable Wholesalers' Association were: Silvet Beet.—6oc to $1.15 a case. Beetroot.—To 80c a case. Pumpkins.—To $7 a sack Cabbages.—Savoy, to $1.50 a sack; Spring best, to $1.50 a case. Carrots.—To $1.40 a case. Caulifloweres—To $1.40 a case. Onions.—To $1.50 a sugar bag. Parsnips.—To $1.20 a case. Sprouts.—To $4.30 a case. Swedes.—sl.2o a sugar bag White Turnips—To 80c a case. Potatoes.—To $2.40 a sugar bag. Spring Onions.—To $1.25 a dozen bunches. Radishes.—To 70e a dozen bunches. Parsley.—To 20c a bunch Lettuces.—Oamaru: to $2.20 a case. Nelson: to £3 30 a case. Local: to $2 80 a case. Leeks.—Bunchd: to $l.BO a case. Loose: $1 a case.
