AUST. WINS
(N.Z. Press Association) NEW PLYMOUTH. In spite of a fine individual game by the centre-forward, A. Corbett, Taranaki failed to make the most of its chances in the circle and was beaten, 4-0, by Australia in a men’s hockey match yesterday. G. Bell, R. Riley (2) and J. Sandy scored for Australia, which was superior in most phases of play.
