Nigeria

Sir,—“Perfidious Albion” has reached an all-time low for perfidy. According to world news media, a once Great Britain is complaining bitterly because Nigeria is blockading oil tankers from breakaway Biafra. The grounds of the complaint are that the blockade is against International law. Only Britain, in view of its blockade of Beira to deny oil to Rhodesia, coud reach this degree of hypocrisy.—Yours, etc, THE WALRUS. July 12, 1967.
