RESTYLED HOLDEN
Longer and wider Holdens with an entirely new look will be announced early next year, the Press Asociation reports from Sydney. The cars will have the “hipped” bodywork which is a design feature of many General Motors cars at present.
Optional with the new car will be a 4.7-litre V-8 engine producing 180 b.h.p., the Sydney “Daily Telegraph” reported. The engine is based on a Chevrolet unit.
The new model will have a greater wheel base and track than the present model, a restyled interior, and oval headlights, the newspaper said.
