Dunraven At Peak

Dunraven showed in his final trial at Wanganui yesterday that he la at a peak of form for the Whyte Handicap at Trentham. The fast work was on the No. 1 grass, which was heavy. Dunraven (Carroll) was quickly at top speed In his sixfurlong trial. He galloped near the middle of the course in the run home to register Imin 19 4-5 sec, the last three in 40 4-ssec. He was under a good hold. Hi There, looking in superb order, worked keenly when given brisk pace work on the Inside. He will travel to Trentham tomorrow morning for the Wellington Steeplechase.
