CORRECTION

(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, July 13. A Press Association report of the Budget debate in Parliament last Friday stated that Mr L. W. Gander (Nat, Manawatu) said that if wheat farming was increased in New Zealand, the country could not only save overseas funds but could export wheat to Australia—thereby improving the current Imbalance of trade between the two countries. This was not correct

Mr Gander actually said that if wheat imports could be eliminated, New Zealand could save overseas funds and improve her adverse balance of trade with Australia.
