The half-back position, which for some years was a controversial one in Canterbury Rugby, is discussed in today’s article to assist readers in their choice of the best halfback to have played for
Canterbury since the war.
Entrants in the “Canterbury’s Best” competition are reminded again their entries should be
addressed to “Canterbury’s Best,” c/o. P.O. Box 1005, Christchurch. Entries will be accepted up to and including Wednesday, but any later entries must have a Wednesday post-mark.
To assist the correct filing of the entries would
