BURGLARIES, THEFTS

Two workmen’s safety helmets of a total value of f2 10s were stolen from an Electricity Department shed in Roberts road after entry had been forced at the week-end. Cash amounting to £8 was stolen from Lyndy’s Drapery, 46 Mcßratneys road. Riverstone Products, 118 Lincoln road, were broken into and £3 in cash was stolen. Two other offices at the same address were also broken into, but nothing has been reported missing. The office of New Zealand Cement Holdings, Ltd., Curletts road, was broken into and pens and pencils of a total value of £2 were taken. An electric drill valued at £2O was stloen from a Hereford street building site between June 30 and yesterday.
