Three Houses Sold
A weatherboard bungalow on a section of 35.9 perches, zoned residential B, at 58 Harrow street, Linwood, was sold for £2200 at public auction on Friday. The sale was held by Smiths City Market, Ltd. The auctioneer was Mr R. A. C. Smith. The house, which is in need of some renovation, has two bedrooms, lounge, living-room, kitchen, bathroom, and laundry. The Government valuation is £1950.
A cottage, in need of repairs, on a section of 24.6 perches, zoned residential B, at 160 St. Albans street, St. Albans, was sold for £l6OO. The auctioneer was Mr N. H. McCrostie. The Government valuation is £1250. A house at 39 McDougall avenue, St. Albans, has been sold by private treaty by Ford and Hadfield, Ltd. The property was passed in when offered at auction.
