Collinge To Train

(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON. The Wellington wicketkeeper, I. J. Therkleson, and the Wairarapa pace bowler, R. O. Collinge, have been told to keep fit during the winter by the New Zealand cricket selectors.

“The selectors informed us they had asked these two to keep in shape against the possibility of any member of the team to tour Australia in November being unable to tour,” said chairman of the Cricket Council (Mr J. G. Leggat) yesterday. All players would receive a further medical check a month before the team left.
