MINOR FIRES

A fire in a van belonging to Stevenson and Son, Ltd., pie manufacturer, about 1.27 p.m., yesterday, caused little damage, and was out when a machine from the Headquarters station arrived. The fire was first noticed when the van was in Cathedral square, near the Carlton Theatre. Fire in a chimney of a house at 37 Gresford street; about 9.5 a.m. caused minor damage. One machine from St. Albans attended. The occupier of the property is Mr H. Wickstead.
