OVERSEAS TRADING
SYDNEY The market tended to lose ground slightly on the exchange yesterday. The mining market was a shade easier Nickel stocks, although well traded, were down a shade. Oils were steady. MELBOURNE Trading was quieter yesterday and industrials were steady with falls shading rises. Two new Issues attracted attention. Both opened at good premiums—Kiwi International opened at 150 c and closed at 160 c and Cockburn Cement at 185 c to 190 c. B.H.P. touched 930 c before closing 2c lower at 918 c.
