Again Next Year
(Parliamentary Reporter) WELLINGTON, June 27. Determination to introduce another Abatement of Litter Bill next session was expressed today by Sir Basil Arthur (Lab., Timaru). His bill, introduced as a private member’s measure, was debated last week, but failed to obtain a second reading. “I am extremely disappointed that the Government did not agree to support the bill or alternatively propose amendments to meet their requirements,” Sir Basil Arthur said today.
