U.K. DECIMAL PARTY

Christchurch Visit

A party from the United Kingdom Decimal Currency Board, which is to observe the change in New Zealand, is to visit Christchurch on July 7. It will comprise the chairman (Sir William Fiske), the secretary (Mr N. E. A. Moore) and Mr P. J. Kitcatt, Assistant Secretary of the Treasury. They will arrive in New Zealand on Saturday. In Christchurch they will visit a bank and will call on the Mayor (Sir George Manning). They will spend the week-end at Mount Cook, and will return to Wellington late on Sunday. The party will remain in New Zealand until July 17.
