MATING WITH NEW SIRE

Dam Of Oaks Winner

Mr and Mrs J. F. Tutton will be among the first Canterbury breeders to patronise the recently Imported English stallion, Lomond.

They will send Fair Talk to him and in doing so will provide the mating of a classicproducing dam with a firstseason sire.

Fair Talk is the dam of Natter, which won the New Zealand Oaks in 1965.

Natter beat the hot favourite Surgaway, which had won the Spring Plate on the first day. Lomond is one of four stallions at w. E Hazlett's Chelandry Stud at Invercargill. The others are Kurdistan, Hawa. and Royal Student, which raced at Riccarton last November.
