BURGLARIES REPORTED
Two boys were interviewed by detectives last night in connexion with burglaries of the Tai Tapu Garage at the week-end. Cigarettes, petrol vouchers and cash, of a total value of £9 Is Bd, were stolen from the garage, which was broken into twice. Women’s underwear, valued at £2l, was stolen when a house in Blenheim road was broken into at the week-end. A wallet and transistor radio, valued at £l7, were stolen from a house in Cygnet street, and tinned goods and meat, worth £l6, stolen from Ryans Butchery, Little River.
