The second In France’s current series 'of nuclear tests In the South Pacific was cancelled yesterday because of bad weather conditions.

Official sources said the test, originally scheduled for Friday, might take place this morning. Conditions were still uncertain.

The first test in the series, preparing for the explosion of France’s first hydrogen bomb next year, was carried out on June 5 at Muruoa Atoll, 750 miles south-west of Tahiti.
