Canterbury.—Light to moderate south-west-erly winds; overcast and cooler with some areas of light rain.
Kaikoura coast and central Marlborough.— Light to moderate southerlies; cloudy, with some light rain; cooler.
Marlborough Sounds.—Light to moderate southerlies; overcast with occasional rain; cooler. Nelson.—Light variable winds; rain in and near the ranges; brief showers elsewhere; little change in temperature.
Buller and Westland.—Light to moderate south-westerlies; mainly cloudy; some scattered light showers; moderate temperatures. Outlook: unsettled. CHRISTCHURCH READINGS
