Move To Sell Liners In U.S.

(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) NEW YORK, May 25. Lord Mancroft, deputy chairman of the Cunard Steamship Line, Arrived in New York last night from London to begin the first direct negotiations for the sale of the luxury liners Queen Mary and Queen Elizabeth.

Lord Mancroft said his company had received 322 suggestions on how the old liners could be used.

One suggestion was that he should “stick the two liners together and market it as the world’s largest catamaran.”
