Big U.K.-Cuba Contract

Cuba has signed a controversial £16,000,000 contract for the construction of a large British fertiliser plant in Havana.
The contract, with the firm of Simon Carvese, Ltd., caused a diplomatic flurry between Washington and Lon* don while in the negotiating stages early this year.
