(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) ADELAIDE, May 10.
Andrew Jones, Australia’s youngest M.P., told a rowdy meeting of university students that his "half drunk half the time” remarks about Federal members had not been recanted.
He said he had apologised for his speech, but not recanted the facts, in the House of Representatives last week. “I apologised for the embarrassment I caused and for belittling Parliament, but there was no recanting at all,” he told about 300 Flinders University students.
