Freedom Of Expression
Sir,—Many people must be concerned at the increasing number of police charges being preferred against individuals for disturbing the peace when they are express-
ing their political views publicly. It is to be hoped that the growing wave of antiCommunist hysteria will not place us in the ironic position of seeing our own rights of free expression nibbled away while the Bogy itself is going through such a virile phase of self-criticism.—Yours, etc., W. R. SQUIRES. May 8, 1967.
