LONGEVITY
C. V. Walter, the coach of the University senior men’s hockey team, furthered a remarkable record when he played for the side in its Taylor Cup match on Saturday.
Walter has a senior hockey career spanning 38 seasons, his first match in the top grade being played in 1934, and this longevity in senior sport matches that of W. A. Hadlee in senior club cricket
