On trial are Charles William i Richardson, Edward George i Richardson, Roy Hall, Francis ■ Fraser, Alfred Abraham Berman, James Alfred Moody,
Thomas Charles Clark and Albert John Longman. They are charged variously in an indictment of 22 counts alleging robbery, assault and demanding money with menaces. They are not all charged on the same counts. They have all pleaded not guilty. Evidence has been given that they~ortured some of their victims. The case is continuing.
