Freezing Workers
Sir,—As a shearer for 10 years, I ask, what was “Sophocles” talking about? He is probably holding an eight-to-five job. Freezing workers make more money than shearers for little or no outlay. However,, they are always complaining about wages, conditions, etc., leading to strikes. Therefore, leave the shearers alone or have a go.—Yours, etc., BOWYANGS. April 30, 1967.
