£2400 A Week To Store Wool

INVERCARGILL, April 19. Storage of about 90,316 bales of wool in Southland is costing the Wool Commission about £2400 a week.

The storage cost 6d a bale a week, the chairman'of the Wool Committee of the Invercargill Woolbrokers’ Association, Mr P. Hunter, said today. Wool is being stored as far away from Invercargill as Tokanui.
