Fresh north-westerlies; some cloudy areas at first but weather otherwise fine; mild in the afternoon. Nelson.—South-westerlies freshening at times; strong in some exposed places; mainly fine with mild afternoon temperatures but a few showers on the western ranges. Buller and Westland.—South-westerlies freshening; light rain at first, later, variable skies with a few scattered showers; moderate day temperatures.
