Tariff Board’s Visit
The Tariff and Development Board will tour Christchurch factories during a three-day visit next month. Members of the board will arrive on May 8 and return to Wellington on May 10. It will be thq board’s first official visit to Christchurch in four years. A spokesman for the Canterbury Manufacturers’ Association said yesterday that the board’s purpose was to examine production in Christchurch factories in the light of the Australian-New Zealand free trade agreement
