Projects To Cost £7200

(N.Z. Press Association)

WELLINGTON, April 13.

Works at the Wellington Zoo to cost £7200 were approved by the City Council tonight.

The first two projects to be approved were for a moated area for hoofed animals, just inside the main gates, to cost £4400; and the first stage of a new entrance building. The designs are by Mr Charles Faust, of the San Diego Zoo, who spent three weeks in Wellington last year.
