LEGAL AID TO KENYA
(NX. Press Association) HAMILTON, April 12. A 39-year-old Hamilton barrister, Mr R. Tompkins, leaves for Kenya on Sunday to become legal adviser with the Kenyan Government. He will work on the legal aspects of the country’s economic development programme and commercial agreements with companies and overseas agencies. Part of his work will entail the training of African law graduates. His appointment has been made for two years under the Commonwealth African Assistance Plan, through the Department of External Affairs.
