Declined To Judge
Only one member of the management committee of the Canterbury Boxing Association was a judge in last evening’s professional bout He was Mr C. Wellman, a vicepresident who took no part in arranging the fight The C.B.A. president (Mr E. G. Pocock) said that Mr T. Wildes, a vicepresident of the association, had requested that he not be considered as a judge because he been a publicity officer for the bout.
