£365 Theft From Flat

A camera, camera lenses, and rings of a total value of £365 were stolen from a flat in Edgeware road yesterday between 7.30 a.m. and 5.10 p.m.

Entry to the flat was gained by forcing a door.

A transistor radio valued at £25 was stolen from a house in Hare street between 1.20 p.m. and 2 p.m. yesterday. Entry was gained by forcing a window. Between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. a purse containing £l7 was stolen from a house in Walpole street Later the purse and a £lO note were recovered on the house driveway.

Cigarettes, chocolates, and tools valued at £62 were taken from the garage premises of Ross Haymes, Ltd., Main South road, Rolleston, on Sunday night. Also taken on Sunday night were a handbag and £6 from

a room in a private hotel in Manchester street. Tools and clothing valued at £23 were taken on Friday night from an office in a car sales yard at 331 Wilsons road. A wallet containing £lO was stolen on Saturday from a pair of trousers hanging in changing sheds at the university sports grounds at Ham.
