HAMILTON, April 7. A 75-year-old Ngaruawuhia retired doctor was today committed to toe Hamilton Supreme Court for trial by jury on a charge of unlawfully using an instrument to procure'a miscarriage. Depositions were heard today in a Hamilton lower court. „ The man, George Brownlee Isdale, pleaded not guilty.
Clerks of Works.—Passes in toe recent examination for registered Clerks of Works are.—R. D. Clifford, A. R. King, J. M. Barclay, D. C. Packman, and N. K. Pearce, all of Christchurch.
