Basketball Captain
Mrs J. Blair, of Christchurch, will captain the New Zealand women’s basketball team which leaves for Australia on July 27 to play in the international tournament at Perth.
This was announced last evening by the executive of the New Zealand Basketball Association.
Miss T. Vercoe, of Rotorua, was named as the vicecaptain.
