Loofah In Demand For Awapuni Mile

Loofah will be in demand for the Manawatu Mile, first leg of the T.A.B. double at the Manawatu Racing Club’s meeting at Awapuni tomorrow.
Loofah has shown that he has few peers on firm ground up to a mile. Dalvui, like Loofah, excels at a mile and he likes a firm track.
Serena, second behind Nenagh at Trentham at her last start and Carlsberg, a moderate eighth in the Easter Handicap at Tauherenikau on Monday, could be the best of the others.
Yoshiko, which galloped impressively yesterday, will probably be a firm fancy for the second leg, the Epsom Handicap.
