Bar Hours
Sir,—On behalf of the womenfolk and in the interests of all those concerned in the sale of alcohol, I suggest the new licensing hours should be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and the evening session from 6.30 to 10.30. This would eliminate the many snags under the present system and ensure the early return from work of a sober husband—on pay days with a full wage packet.—yours, etc. ABSTAINER. March 30, 1967.
