TWO MEN STABBED
Incident In Linwood Two men were stabbed about 12.15 a.m. yesterday in a house in England street, Linwood. John Morris Kelly, of 169 Gilberthorpes road, suffered neck wounds. He was admitted to the Christchurch Hospital, where his condition last night was satisfactory. Neil Robert Trainor, of 13 Tirangi street, who also suffered neck wounds, was treated and discharged. Mr Kelly and Mr Trainor were injured after they had gone to the house to assist a woman to evict a tenant. A man was arrested about 11.30 a.m. on charges of injuring with intent to cause grievous bodily harm. He will appear in the Magistrate's Court today.
