FERRYMEAD PARK

Five Dances For Funds

The Christchurch Junior Chamber will hold a series of five dances to raise funds for the Ferrymead Historic Park.

The dances, called “Mod *67,” will be held in the Horticultural Hall, starting on Friday.

During the series, a “mod” dress parade, and a folksinging contest with prizes totalling £5O, will be held. Folk-singers will have 10 minutes to present their items, and the judges, who will be selected by the Junior Chamber, will take audience appreciation into account.
