Cottage Sold For £895

A fisherman’s cottage at 57 Izard avenue, Se’.wyn Huts, was sold for £895 at public auction yesterday. The property was offered on account of the estate of G. Barrington by Smiths City Market, Ltd. The auctioneer was Mr R. A. C. Smith. Offered on account of Mr T. O. L. Armstrong, a twostorey weatherboard house at 94 Fendalton road. Fendalton, was passed in at £7OOO. The sale was held by Allen, Sheppard, and Smith, Ltd. The auctioneer was Mr J. N. Allan.

The house has a livingroom, diningroom, three bedrooms, kitchen, cloakroom and laundry. There is also a garage and workshop on the section of 30 perches. A bungalow, a cottage, four glasshouses, and two garages on a section of three roods six perches at 18 Lincoln road were passed in at £B5OO. The sale was held by Hutchinson White, Ltd. The auctioneer was Mr G. H. Kissell.
